Our story

Kala Beach was born in late 2025, the result of Grupo Run Run’s ambition to make its mark in the hospitality sector and create a restaurant and beach club that reflects the group’s core values: passion, commitment, and attention to detail.

Thus, Kala Beach became the Canary Islands-based group’s first hospitality project, designed to be a unique haven in Gran Canaria; a place where the cuisine is exquisite, but the experience goes far beyond that. Every corner of Kala is designed for your leisurely enjoyment: from lunch overlooking the sea to a sunset shared with family or friends on our Balinese beds, cocktail in hand.

Every detail, every dish, and every service aims to convey the enthusiasm we’ve felt since day one: to create a place where people feel comfortable, right on the beach and, literally, on the sand itself.

We are dedicated to respecting the environment. We clean the beach around the restaurant, use durable and sustainable materials in our furnishings, and prioritize efficient energy management with low-consumption equipment and solar panels. We want every visit to Kala to be a pleasant and mindful experience, knowing that we are also caring for the place that inspires us.
